Welcome Letter

32nd Annual New Ulm Trade Fair and Living History Event

Friday, March 8 Setup Only: 12 noon – 9 pm (Vendors ONLY!)

Saturday, March 9, 2013 9 am – 5 pm

Sunday, March 10, 2013 9 am – 3 pm

Turner Hall, 102 S State Street, New Ulm, MN

I want to personally invite you to participate as a vendor in this year’s New Ulm Trade Fair and Living History Event. I expect another good year as I continue to expand the promotion of the event through the events website at www.NewUlmTradeFair.com and an active Facebook page

Tables will again be set up both upstairs and downstairs. I would not anticipate any significant changes in table assignments this year. Most of the major remodeling is completed at Turner Hall which now provides the show with 2 major entrances. Like last year I will be requesting that all vendors not park in the parking lot in the back while the show is going on. We want to save those spots for our paying customers.

Again there will be limited edition collector medallions and mugs available for sale. This medallion will be required for anyone that enters the trading areas during the “non-public hours”. This includes the upstairs bar and any other areas set up as “non-public” by Turner Hall. Production of these items will be limited so be sure to order yours in advance. Pre-Order your medallions for a discounted price.

Please be sure to read the entire rules and regulations section carefully as there are a few minor rule changes. Period dress and pre-1840 items on the trade tables will be strictly enforced.

Traders may stay at their tables Friday and Saturday night. Please limit the number at each table to 2 people. “Lights out” in these areas will be approximately 10:00 pm.

For those interested there will be a space set up for a potluck supper on Friday evening. Turner hall will have a basic dish for sale (probably Chili) to start as a basis for this supper. The rest of the dishes will be solely up to those who want to bring food to pass. I know it has been a great tradition so I hope some of you will continue to bring a dish for this function. If you wish to participate I ask that you bring a dish to share!

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.
